Default Molybdenum Disulfide

The workshop manual says to put some on the release bearing and also on the inside of the clutch disk. Is this nessicary? If so, where can I get it?

Molybdenum Disulfide is just a real high temp lubricant. I don't know where you could actually buy it, but could only assume lithiam grease or bearing grease would serve the exact same purpose

I dont think a workshop manual is going to recommend something that is going to catch on fire or dry out.
