Default LOCK LUGS...NO KEY

ok so i bought a 2000 civic si and the person i bought the car from lost the locks for the lugs nuts. im not sure if they are factory honda lugs or what. 3 out of 4 of the lugs locks are round on the outside and have an allen key shape on the inside. the fourth lug is also round on the outside and has a star pattern on the inside. does anyone have anyidea on how i can remove these things, or break them off. vice grips, hammer???? please help, you can email me at jdmek9typefast@aol.com thanks for your help

I would suggest you go to a tire shop and pay a small fee to have a proffesional remove them. They know how and have the tools and experiance. If start using a hammer and vise grips you are just going to mess everything up and have to pay a lot more to fix it.

Have you tried looking in the glove box and also the repair kit in the trunk for it. That's where they are usually hidden.

I would also suggest that no one here public posts ways of defeating locking lug nuts. PM the guy if you have a method. No reason it share with the world how to steal rims......just my 2 cents.

try using a 16 sided socket that fits over the lug and hammer it in and try to use an impact gun to take it off.

get a twist socket set from sears, hammer it on the lock and take it off with an impact gun. this is what we do at our shop.
