i would maybe try the us model honda book, to maybe look it up where it might be. its also easy to check the code with the plug wire that hangs down under your pasenger side dash..

it doesn't matter if the engine has or doesn't have the EGR valve, if the ECU thinks it needs it, it will set the code.
Is the P28 chipped to run the D15b?
which program are you running?

i don't think his is chipped so it shouldn't be looking for a egr. Even if it is chipped it shouldn't be looking for an egr unlesss it's chipped as a vx ecu, which would be stupid. p28's won't look for an egr

ok i see your point so the d15b does have an egr valve right. but u say p28 shouldn't be looking for it. maybe it bulid in and can be optional cause then it don't make sense.

some of the really early versions of tools out there had random problems with this code popping up. If you're using an Ebay chip this may be the issue.

If you're running the P28 in it's stock form then there is something else wrong.

not that it matters at this point, but if I remember correctly the D15b VTEC does not have an EGR, the D15b VTEC-E does.

so far the engine light light up when it cold outside i never had this before and i have my swap in since july. as for the ecu i realy don't know if it chiped i bought it on ebay and guy said it was never opened but who knows i will have to open it and find it out my self. i know my engine is not an vtec-e cause the code would be stamped d15bz and mine is stamped d15b.

actually the JDM D15b came in several versions.
the head determins which one you have.
if it's a P08 you have the VTEC 130hp version.
if it's a P07 then you have the VTEC-E 92hp (VX) version.
