problem with aftermarket fuel line
Has anyone used an aftermarket fuel line with your stock fuel iintegra gsr fuel rail?
i have to use one becasue when i use the stock fuel line on the ITR IM/ITR CAI the fuel line rubs hard against the intake tubing.
so i bought an aftermarket one with 2 banjo fittings, which are a couple of MM thicker than the stock banjo fittings. The fuel filter banjo fit fine, its the banjo fitting that goes on the stock fuel rail that im having a problem with. There are 2 washers, 1 on each side of the stock banjo fitting, if i try to use the 2 washer on the new aftermarket banjo fitting it strips the fuel rail end nut thing. So i bought another fuel rail end nut and took one of the washers out (the washer between banjo and stock fuel rail) which gave me like a mm. But that was enough to tighten it so that fuel wouldnt leak. Do you think that is ok, if im not using that washer.
or does anyone else have any susggestion? i cant use stock fuel line it seems unless i turn the stock fuel line at an angle and not fit it between the 2 things at the end of the fuel rail that hold the banjo fitting in place?

You need that crush washer to seal the line. W/out it you will leak fuel. What setup do you have? Why don't you just find an LS/ITR fuel line and use that? Fits like a glove.
Don't forget to CAREFULLY check for fuel leaks before you go running it. It would suck to have your car blow up!

Yes it is. This is what I used when I put the ITR IM on my GSR w/a PR3 head, because the origianl fuel line was rubbing my intake arm too.
