FOR SALE: 2000 ITR race car.
Well, I never thought I would have to do this. But its time to sell the R.
Here is the info.
2000 Phoenix Yellow ITR #184
This car was raced in only 7 TCRA club races, with 5 wins and 2 second place finishes and NO major mishaps.
The car is in near-perfect condition with NO body damage, with the exception of a few chips in the paint. The car was originally
built to SCCA ProRacing specs (World Challenge regulations) to eventually run in the USTCC (US Touring Car Championship.)
The suspension setup was recommended and and assisted by Scott Zellner of King Motorsports. The car is extremely well sorted
and is extremely fast and well handling. The car has always been well maintained and never abused on the track.
There is approximately 16k original miles on the car, with less than a thousand being track-miles. The engine and transmission have
both been well maintained and are still very strong (188hp and 133tq to the wheels.) The car was driven to a season championship of the
TCRA Touring Car Challenge Cup Series.
Modifications
Suspension:
- Mugen N1 dampers w/ Eibach springs (600f/900r).
- King Motorsports front and rear adj. camber kits.
- Mugen 26mm rear swaybar.
Motor:
- Mugen N1 ECU
- Ducting from headlight to factory airbox.
- B&M fuel riser and gauge.
- AEM adj. cam sprockets.
- JDM 4-1 header.
- Custom exhaust.
- Earls 14-row oil cooler w/steel braided lines and oil filter relocation kit (to firewall.)
- Battery relocated to rear of car in sealed box.
- Fluidyne racing aluminum radiator.
Safety:
- 8 point rollcage built to SCCA Proracing specs (eg. World Challenge).
- Engine kill-switch.
- 5-point Simpson harness
- Carbon-kevlar Momo race seat (9 lbs)
Misc:
- Autometer oil temp, water temp, and oil pressure gauges.
- 15x7 Kosei K1 lightweight racing rims powdered coated flat black - 6 rims
- 205/50/15 Toyo RA1 race tires.
- Momo steering wheel w/ quick release adapter.
- HP Motorsports aluminum wing and brackets w/ adjusters (World Challenge Touring Spec.)
- Custom splitter and undertray w/ spares.
- HotLap timer.

Looks like almost all of us are selling out. I might be as well. Not just yet though. I have to check out the Lancer EVO in person or get more info on its release before I commit to it.

As g00t as the suggestions sound and as much as I love the ITR.......I can't do it fellas! I have already turned down 2 other offers to buy an ITR!
First, I need to finance any car I get, it's not in my best interest right now to drop a boat load of cash on a car. Second in order for me to buy another ITR, I prolly would have to move out of my parents house which is not in my best interest right now. My parents (especially mom) wouldn't be pleased if I brought another theft prone car home again!
I know it may sound corny but it's my situation right now
