Looking for a 2nd gen. Mugen wing
My R is currently wingless, I've been looking on the net to find a Mugen wing and I have had no luck. I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction ?
Happy Thanksgiving !

On page 4,5, or 6 of the ITR classifieds...can't remember which page, a fellow ITR owner is selling an Authentic Mugen wing. The good think is it is way less than what King is asking.

Buyer beware. The fake version has a different wing crossection which hasn't been R&D'd by Mugen, or any other race team for that matter.

Getting one with CF in the middle would be a custom job.
The real Mugen wing is FRP on the sides, and aluminum in the middle.
$600 will take mine.

It appears to be an exact duplicate of the design, except for the material used for construction of the flat wing itself.
Do you think it would behave aerodynamically differently from the Mugen wing?

Does anybody have profile shots of the 1st Gen Mugen Wing, to see where it would interact with the air flow coming off the roof?

If that's the case George then Mugen has made two versions of the wing. I've seen "Mugen" wings up here in Vancouver that have the thicker part of the aluminium wing at the front, and some that have it at the back. The fake wing also has a more pronounced rake at the rear of it, while the real one is straighter and looks more like an actual wing in crossection. IIRC when you adjust the real Mugen wing you have to remove the backing plate and reposition the wing on the plate, so the plate always stays in the same position on the uprights. With the fake one you just reposition the plates on the uprights to adjust it.
