I get a really weird bog and irradic idle. I've got to go back for more tuning tomorrow. What should i try.

 

what have you done to your base map for the 310s?

 

First let me clarify what we are tuning. I have Skunk2 Stage 2 cams, camgears, valvetrain, B&M regulator, AC intake, stock 96 JDM 4-2-1 header, DC exhaust, Carsound cat, 310 RC injectors. Basically my air/fuel was really smooth above 2000RPM but the 1000-2000 range needs to be sort of rich so my car doesn't bog but it still does after going full throttle and then letting off.

You might want to go visit you local friendly Hondata dealer...they're not that far from you...

 

Can I see your dyno on those skunk2 cams?

 

I did...Dynospot. We tried to tune it for about 3.5 hours and even took it for drives and datalogged. Still have a weird idle and bogs during upshifts.

 

As soon as I get a finished tuned plot, I will post it.

 

That's odd, as Lawrence knows what he's doing...I'm at a loss.

 

The erratic idle could be coming from the cams.
What kind of vacuum reading do you get at idle?

 

We didn't check but everything else seems to work correctly including the TPS. For some reason, these RC injectors need to be rich in order to kind of idle correctly.
