They look too light, if they were a bit more amber then the bumper lights would look good.

I wonder why it took so long for anyone to make these amber bumper lights for the USDM bumper.

I painted mine before but hated the way it came out. I converted my bumper lenses to dual filament awhile back. When I put my regular clears back on I left the orange/amber reflector inside so when accessory lights are on they do light up amber and blink...but I admit to also wanting the lenses to be amber. Hopefully the ones I ordered will match my amber corners.

naw i got the amber bumper lights. they are the exact same shade of amber as the jdm sidemarkers. they are a closer match to the corner on the left.

I thought these came on our cars already. I got a set from a wrecked crx at the junkyard for $3 bucks.

The 88-89 came with the amber bumper lights, not the 90-91 usdm. Only the jdm bumpers had the ambers.

I am using bulb sockets that I sourced from a 90 celica from a junkyard. I had noticed awhile back that my girlfriends 90 Celica had dual filament bumper lenses so I figured if I got celica sockets I could rig it up to work. As it turns out the bulb sockets on a 90 celica will plug right into the bumper lense housing on our 90-91 CRXs.
Basically you're going from a bulb socket that has three wires to four. That forth wire is for what I guess would be called the "constant" or accessory lights. I ran a wire from the corner light down to the forth wire on the socket. This way when you turn on the parking or accessory lights the bumper lenses will also light up...but I think you get the idea overall.
I don't know if there are any otherbulb sockets that fit 90-91 bumper lense housings but I had done some research back then and had seen a few people that modified theirs in varying ways. I preffer using the Celica sockets since they fit right in like a glove. I hope this was helpful. If not let me know.
