Default Momo Steering Wheel Question?

Hey guys,

i want to replace my stock steering wheel for a MOMO Monte Carlo steering wheel. My questions are...what kind of a hub adapter do i have to get? Whats better 320mm or 350mm? and how many mm is the stock steering wheel?

If any of you have it, tell me how it steers and comfortable it is.

Thanks

Also, How do you remove the stock steering wheel?

Here's mine, its a 350mm...which is a full inch smaller than stock. I got this one used for $25 and polished it up...it works very well for autocrossing and is not too hard to turn while parking etc.

Another thing I really like is that when I get in the car, I dont rub my legs on the wheel, and I can carry a drink in my lap without the wheel hitting it.

I chose to buy a new MOMO Hub. It ran me about $55...shop around they're everywhere. The momo hub is a perfect fit, and is designed to collapse if you were to get into a severe accident...that's some added security in our little squishboxes.

To remove your CRX/EF wheel, just carefully pry off the H logo in the middle of the horn. Inside there is a 19mm (edited) nut you unscrew, then it just comes off. Do the reverse to install the momo hub. Everything you need to wire the horn will be provided with the wheel and hub...and its quite obvious what to do when you see it.

I bought it used from a message board member, after passively looking out for one for almost a year.

It was a bit faded, but some Kiwi shoe polish and buffing helped alot. I'm very very happy with it.

I got the shift **** for $5 from a wrecking yard.

for an EF I like how the 320mm looks and feels. For EG/ EK the 350mm fit better. As for a hub I just picked up a HKB hub for $21 shipped of Ebay, just search "honda steering hub"

I have a Grant steering wheel which is really similar to the Momo.

It has a nice thick grip and feels great. I am using a Grant hub as well which is collapsable. I bought the wheel and hub from a local performance shop for around $100.

That looks almost identical!

The Grant one above is very close, too... nothing wrong with a Grant as far as I know....lots of racers use them.

I prefer a 350mm for daily driving. Its just small enough to be effective, but still very easy to park.

I also have a momo monte carlo. I bought it used a year or two ago. It was advertised as "momo wheel: Black w/ red stitching". Was the Spoon version the
only one with the red stitching? Just curious if anyone knows..

I just installed mine but it seems too close to the stalks (turn signals and wipers). Anyone else have that problem?
