got it a couple weeks ago and it needs some love, but aint that what having a project car is all about..?? the girl i bought it from wrecked then got "some guys off the street" as she said..to fix it for her...but i got it asscheap and decided to put in a few hrs to fic it up but shes under the knife as of yesterday 11.24.05 so after a few days of work, some new parts, she'll be good as new..........ill post some new pics after i fix, install everything but heres a few before pics::

i think it is joint compund..lol i asked the girl who did this to it and she literally said "some guys off the street"..lol but the hood and fender are like as hard as a damn brick.. plus you like those jdm old school bo-bo's right? lol i was embarrased to drive it home..lol

 

just get a new hood, omg thats definately not worth all the bondo and un even weight on your hood. its only like 70 bucks for a new one at certifit/other aftermarket body parts stores.

 

What motor is in that? D16 or D15? I see another red sol in the background. That yours too?

got'um bro, i had to fix some damage (rad support, lights, etc..) but i have them all just stared working on it yesterday...but everything is fixed and mounted..just gota finish painting them..

 

the beat up one is for my brother which is getting license in dec so im helping him out getting him car/fixing it up....its a s model so its gota d15, the one in the back ground is my si model.....
i know..i know, lol same car..same color.....im gona paint mine soon

That looks good, but let me tell you what happened to me. I had a pretty good looking del sol, only had 110k S model, lowered on slips, cf hood, exhaust header intake msd etc. I sold it to him cheap, and let him make payments on it. He had it for about 2 months... and then one day I get a phone call, "I wrecked the car, dont be mad i'll pay you back". Luckly him and his friend were okay but we get it home and this is what it looks like.




Thankfully my brother and his friend was unharmed, but I loved that car, it was my first Honda. Needless to say I never got another penny from him tho. Anyway sorry to jack your thread, I just know if I could go back I would have waited till he had a year or so of driving before I gave him the keys. Goodluck on your projects!

got late and left it in booth to dry..get more finished pics later after wetsand/buffing is finished.....
