Prelude or GSR
Can youn put a prelude engine in a CRX or would I be better off with the GSR I have had people tell me that if I put a prelude engine in I can run almost 9' flat but people also tell me that it will lean and it isnt worth it so I cant decide
Nobody currently makes a mount kit that lets you put a Prelude motor in a CRX. And you will need a hell of a lot more than 195 hp to run a 9-second 1/4-mile ET.
HASport and HCP Engineering both make kits to put B-series (i.e. Integra, del Sol VTEC and '99-'00 Si) motors into CRX's.

Im playing with you, the thing is with Prelude engines is that you need custom mounts, for GSR engines there are many aftermarket mounts available. If money insnt a problem go for the H22A (prelude). Lates

If you got 20000 to spend go for CRVtec, mounts should be available and you cant go wrong with torque. Both engines have great torque

if you wanna run 9's....go with a b20vtec/gsr/b16 motor.......since you got 20k...you can build the crap out of it......ron bergenholtz crx has a gsr motor...i think it runs 8's now and lisa kubos eg has a b16
why not go grab a b18c and toss the greddy turbo on and lay down 270 hp @ whells and you get a cool PSHHHHHH sould
that would make one sweet show car that you could bust out and do 11's with with interior
