(I did a quick search but didn't find anything on the topic)
My exhaust piping is rubbing underneath my car and it's driving me insane! The noise gets worse with added passengers...my friend's DC2 had similar problems, and my old exhaust did the same thing. Is there a quick, known fix for the problem? I'm assuming this happens in most Civics and Integras given that I've seens 3 exhaust (Apexi, Tanabe, Mugen) doing the same thing on 2 different car.
Any ideas are greatly appreciated

What do you mean by rubbing? Vibration? or what? How do you know its your exhaust? Have you inspected your exhaust to see if its hitting anything? (ex: heatshields underneath)

I'm sure it's the exhaust rubbing; I guess my question is: what kind of material could i use to coat/pad/wrap the area where the pipe is making contact with the car?
Is there some sort of melt-proof rubber I can buy somewhere?

See if you can find exactly where its rubbing. I had that problem with my WS on my coupe... the problem was the axle-back flange was actually hitting and rubbing on the brake line. It wore through the line. I had to buy an entire new rear pass brake line.

mine hits on my heatsheild on 4deg it vibrates for like the 1st 3 minutes before warming up
also a n1 with big piping, is it safe to remove this heat sheild?
i was thinking about wraping the pipe where it hits in heat wrap to it wont be metal to metal and be more silent
