Damn, you still went through with it after all that was posted...wow. Good luck. You should contact the authorities asap. Why dont you post all of the info you have on him. I sure hope you have more than just a cell number.
A lot of you are probably going to write back flaming me saying "told ya so" or "you deserved it!" Well lets look beyond the past and catch this crook
Please post his complete info. If you haven't contacted the authorities in Oregon, please do so ASAP. Good luck.

Post the info here! There is no reason to NOT post it publically. If you want help, give all that you have.
Tell us what have you done so far, and as much info as you have. Have you called the police?

Not to be mean, but you are extremely naive. Sending $2000 to someone you have only spoken to on the phone? You need to contact your bank as well as the bank of america with his account info and see what you can find out. NEVER buy anything if the person wont go through escrow. Good luck.
I live in oregon, near portland, contact me on aim, my screen name is 'smokin chronic' we'll discuss it more there. or email me.....'paswordsecurty@yahoo.com'(yeah thats how its spelled)

I am not trying to rub it in. You posted for help. Here is what you need to do:
1. Contact your bank ASAP - I am assuming this is how you wired the money.
2. Contact his bank or any bank of america with his acct info and see if they can put a hold on the transfer
3. Contact the police department - both locally and in the area
4. Contact Ebay and report this to them - wont help you but may help others
5. Be thankful you did not send him the full amount
I would get on this FIRST THING tomorrow morning. The longer you wait, the less likely you are to get anything handled.

There's no way a Portland local can track him down with a false address. Get the authorities involved and follow the above protocol.
would you like to rub it in anymore???
9 pages of posting 99% of the people telling you it was either Stolen or a scam. You didnt want to believe any of us and Now you want our help
What was best is that you didn't mind if the engine was stolen
To quote myself from another thread
"Think of it this way, It cost him $2000 to learn a lesson. One that we tried teaching him for free."
Yes, Yes I would

9 pages of people telling you that you were buying a stolen motor or getting scammed, and you still tried to go through with the deal. It's your own damn fault, so deal with it yourself. You can't expect us to want to help you because you were trying to buy a motor that was likely stolen from an H-T member.
It's all because you didn't mind buying a stolen engine, not because you didn't listen to the advice that it could be a scam.......
yo brother call the cops................. or **** do something dont come on the bord and cry about it........... damm i feel your pain BUT DOOOOOOOOO SOMETHING BOUT IT!!!!!!!!
