Breather for Civic

I am having trouble looking for the valve on my 1996 Civic Ex 4 dr, so that i can put on my breather.... can any one help me ?

valve cover. Where the line goes to the intake, take that line off and put the breather on the vc port.

is the breather the little filter looking thing?

ive always wondered what it was and what benefits it brought?

Nothing really....it just looks fancy.

Some will yammer about crank case ventilation and oil in your intake manifold, but its all somantics.
