yeah, its worth it. u need to find out exactly what is wrong with it though. don't go by what he says. CRANK ??? why ??? etc.... If you are swapping, then don't worry about it, go for it. $1500 for a nice shell like that is good, plus you can sell all the ugly parts on it and get nice cheap used OEM ones plus extra cash for the swap, build, or boost !!!!

Yeah my plan would be to rip out most of the audio equipment, sell it and go for low boost to start out. I'm just really worried about that crank.

sure. pay $1500, fix it, then turn around, sell it, and buy a car that doesn't look like a joke.

but seriously, why is the dude selling it? he could sell it for way more than that and get rid of it quick. seems a little suspicious to me...

He's moving and he already has two other vehicles, this one currently isn't running because of the crank pulley and he wants it gone. I know it ran up until a week ago, since I saw it...

ehhh... a word of advice people on ht are know it alls....i wouldnt post **** about a car like that here...its like asking your very critical friend if you should bang a chubby girl... but in answer to your question... 1500 isnt bad as long as it runs well....the main problem i see is cosmetic..and that can be fixed easily...and you can probably make some dough off those corney *** parts....

If it were me I would have to replace those fenders, the front and back bumpers and that horrible mid-wing. The interior looks like it has had work done too, not to mention the non-running engine. If you wanted to drive this car right away I would skip it and just find an old person with an eg or ek to start with. If you are handy with a wrench and the body is in top notch shape aside from the rice I would think about $1500, probably try to get it for $1000, afterall it's not running.
