I love Summit racing...I ordered this exhaust dump on Monday night and it showed up at my door before noon today (Wednesday). They also sent me a free hat Anyway, got this today...plan is to have the dump open when I'm on the C16 map, which is getting retuned in the spring...shooting for 25psi, which should give somewhere in the ballpark of 500 - 550whp. The dump will be closed off for normal driving to keep sound levels down, and the regular 93 octane map is going to be retuned for that, too (it was originally tuned with an open downpipe). So, yeah...now I just have to get it welded into my downpipe

i was thinking about using this except the electronicly controlled one when I go turbo. anyone have any info on how well the electronic ones work?

I had the same one and it worked fine.
Just to tell you now once you run it open, youll never wanna close it.
It sound sooooooo cool. Esp on a 2 step.

They all leak. Trust me, I had 3 different kinds.

 

I'm not too worried about it leaking. If it gets too bad I'll figure something out, but I don't really drive it very much anyway so I can put up with a little bit of leaking

 

when i had one the dump part sat really close to the ground and scrapped everywhere, not sure what kind it was tho. hope yours works good for you. open exhaust is so fun on a turbo car, except the fumes
