light doesn't work... pelase help
sorry, i'm new to this forum, but i was wondering if someone could help.
first i have 04 honda accord sedan
i was trying to install a neon light in my glove box. i took out the bulb and tried wiring the light to it... but i lost grip and it shorted. i figured i blew a fuse somewhere, but i can't find it. the headlights turn on but all the instrumental dimming features do not work with the headlights, nor does the lights flash when i turn on/off my alarm.
any ideas? thanks...

Well hopefully you learned your lesson on ricing out your car.... Check all your fuses it is for sure one of those. Just remember one more thing SAY NO TO RICE

Now try to start your engine?
Now try to shift from “P” to “D”
You can’t right? Good
This means you blew your Driver’s Side Fuse #9 go replace that with 7.5A fuse (function of this fuse is Instrument Panel, Back-Up Lights)
When you count your fuse count from the bottom:

After you blow this fuse, you may also get Check Engine warning, you know that you didn’t do anything wrong so simply remove negative cable from the battery and wait few second and reconnect.
Now don’t try to install that neon lights, you may give it to me

i have a manual. and that fuse wasn't blown. i replaced it because thats the one i thought it was too... but i didn't alleviate the problem. any other suggestions?
