Snap-On Mig Welder, good deal?
I found an older Snap-on mig for sale locally, it's a 140 amp, 120 volt continuous duty cyle wire feed with regulator and gauges, just not a tank. Has .030" tip and wire but can run .023"-.045".
The guy is asking $750 for it, which seems good to me, since new snap on 140AMP welders are like $2500+ but I really don't know a whole lot about welders yet, so I thought I would ask.
Any help would be great, thanks.

There is no such thing as a "good deal" with Snap-On. If you wanna look cool in front of a few who know the brand, then go ahead. Otherwise you could have the same or better brand new from a reputable manufacturer (who probably make the Snap-On machines anyways lol )
I bought my rebadged Miller welder from Cornhole. Its 220v, came with wire, and was $1200. Im my opinion I wouldnt get that one, based on the fact that you can spend a few hundred more, get a welder from a well known company, and get 220v. Im very happy with it
Go to home depot or Lowes and get the Lincoln SP135T or Promig 135 or HD3200 (all the same thing just different badging) for under $500.....brand new. Snap on is overpriced and under quality on everything except handtools, diagnostic equipment, and toolboxes.
