My CRX is a DOHC ZC w/ZC tranny, its a DX, what was replaced to fit it?(hubs, ect?)
What is needed to fit the ZC tranny into a 91 DX? As far as I know, only the Si can bolt in the ZC tranny with no mods, like knuckles, hubs, brakes, ect.
My car has the DOHC tranny, cause I got under it and it has the intermediate shaft and 2 short axles. I'm guessing something had to be changed? Mine is a DX.
If you wonder why I ask, the **** was swapped already, so I wouldn't know what had to be changed, this was not a swap I had to research.
Reminds me, I need to check for a LSD.

Nope, Si and DX have the same hubs and stuff, it's only the HX's that need to be replaced.
He said CRX, there is no STD CRX.
Sorry I probably sound like a dick there. I only mentioned the HF because we were refering to CRX's, but you are correct about the Civic std.

Okay.
Well, that makes me think. Can I use the front brakes off my EJ1? Integra sized 94+ spec.

Sorry, but there IS an Std. CRX, at least according to my Honda Factory Service Manuals. They refer to the mid-line model as both the DX *AND* the Std.
But yeah, if your CRX is a DX (or Std), then you didn't have to replace the hubs. About all you'd have to do to get a DOHC ZC engine and ZC tranny in the car would be the DPFI-to-MPFI swap and use a ZC-compatible ECU.

not without replacing the front knuckles/hubs. You need either 90-93 integra (very slightly length difference), SiR, or 90-91 civic EX knuckles/hubs to fit those brakes.
