As the title states, co-worker and I were bored the other evening and decided to do a mini-photoshoot in the midst of the fog Bellingham has had recently. First let me begin with saying I am not a photographer (I'd love to be one, but my picture taking abilities suck) nor do I have that great of a camera. The camera used is just one of the cannon elf's. Also, I shrunk the pictures down to 400x300 to save on size, yet if desired I can put larger resolution pics up. The original size are hefty, but can be arranged to set these as thumbnails (was their original purpose). Yes I know my wheels are ugly, it wasn't me. Just give me time. I'm not looking for criticism on how ugly my car is
, as I already know everything you could say on it.
With that said, I introduce you to my extremely dirty dc4 and my co-workers 1978 modded 240 coined the Doomwagon.
Together on a small hill close to the University.

The DC4 on the same hill by itself.

The 240 by itself.

Now we start our trek though the fog and darkness to find places suitable for pictures. Well, to be honest, mostly him finding spots for pictures and me pointing saying "That looks pretty"....well, maybe not in those words per-say....
Driving through downtown:

We came across an entrance to a factory where it was decided to be a good place to take a picture or two. Within 30 seconds, secruity showed up...in the van...just sitting and watching.

Back to the Univ. we went in search of more.

Our last place of rest was in a small aclove behind one of the buildings.

Of course, the resident wheel shoot.

And lastly, the interior shot.

Before the bashing begins. My car was purchased the way you see it...mostly. I haven't had the extra time or money to throw into it, such is life. However, I am curious to see what everyone thinks..since it was relatively spur of the moment, my car is horrid looking, but I think it adds to the pictures due to everyone elses being perfectly smooth and shiney.

I understand that, and as I said...I haven't had the time nor the excess funds to do anything about it. Just what happens when life gets in the way.

Because a perfectly framed shot of nothing but car is always more interesting to the eye.

The purpose of these pictures was not in order to view the selected cars...I peronsally realize that my car has problems and will be the first to admit it. The backgrounds that were selected were in an attempt to be in good relation to the items involved (ie the cars). I also said that I weas not a photographer, so they came out not necessarily in the best of light.
It was an attempt, maybe a failed one at that, but I did what I could with the materials I had.
