i got my car checked out at the local import shop and the mechanic said my rocker arm is messed up since my vtec bogs..hes charging me 300 bux what do u guys think about it?

 

could be something else like not enought oil in the engine or the vtec solenoid is clogged id make a and check those before any thing else

yes i did that bogs into vtec at 5500 rpm

 

Are you near a Honda dealership by any chance? Sometimes they will help you out

 

its rare for just one rockerarm to go out like that....make sure you get different opinions

 

I'm with this guy, get your car check at numerous locations unless that spot as an incredible reputation. Good Luck with your never ending problem man.
