It's still illegal... basically those that would normally do this can steal a car... swap vins and boom its legal.
You'll probably get PMs from people... but I doubt they'll post and let it be known that they do this. Of course... they might just steal your car while they are at it.
I'm also guessing that this isn't for getting a JDM model or something registered...

The rest of us care... and swaps aren't illegal unless u place a motor older than the vehicle into the car. For the cali people they also get BARs to fully legalize swaps. VIN swapping has no legal basis and cannot be certified or made legal...

You aren't exactly supporting a RHD, non-US market format either.
The rest of us care... and swaps aren't illegal unless u place a motor older than the vehicle into the car. For the cali people they also get BARs to fully legalize swaps. VIN swapping has no legal basis and cannot be certified or made legal...

and just a little fyi I did somewhat deal with this guy a while back when I had my drag crx for sale...I talked to him on the phone for almost an hour about how he wants my car and he is most likely going to part it out and meet me to look at the car...but then flaked and never got back to me...oh well back on topic...how wants to do something illegal for this guy.
