Default eagle rods, which side faces timming belt? thanks

im putting a motor together with eagle hbeam rods and im wondering which side of the rod faces the timming belt? theres an ink stamed numbers on one side and no numbers on the other.

then on the crank side thei have markings on each side. i have ZY on all four and J, 111,111 and J,207,207 and 1,992,992 and J,047,047.

im guessing the rods dont go to a specific cylinder correct? thanks

Bump cuz i have a similar question about eagle rods.

I read that the 'notches' in the rod & cap should face the exhaust side. Is this correct? Will this correctly position the pistons 'offset'? (piston pin hole is set slightly more to one side then the other)

This thread mentions to have the 'notches' in the cap & rod facing the exhaust side

Yes. The notches or tangs should be installed exhaust side.
