Default So i picked up some roadmaster's from walmart today....

I got some 6 inchers in the front and 6x9's in the rear (Chevy Beretta). Only 20 dollars each at the walmart. Honestly probably the 40 dollars ever spent. The 6x9's bump amazing and the sound is crisp and clear. They have 200 watt max out put and i think 20-25 rms. Very easy install also. Came with everything you would ever need.

Roadmasters are amazing for the money.

well maybe not. Say his factory speakers were blown. A new set will sound great. Anything is better the the factory paper cone and weezer tweeter. I would rather save up and get better qaulity. but Everyone pocket might not be the same.

No they don't. No speakers "put out" watts. The 200 watt rating is peak power (rated in watts) that they can handle. Your head unit produces power (in watts).

I'm assuming you mean screws, speed clips and wire. Wow. What a concept. Every other pair of speakers comes with that stuff too.

I'm sure they are... Until the coils burn or the cone separates from the surround next week.

Anyone that argues for roadmaster doesnt have a clue in hell about car audio.

you prolly ran it off your pyramid amp didnt you? lol

Return them and buy some speaks from circuit city or get some of last years overstock at a discount from a reputible audio shop.

You will thank me later

actually they were in my single cab toyota pickup behind the seat, the stock speakers in the truck was a set of 4 inch stockers in the front, and it sounded absolutely great in there with my speakers in it. i know plenty about car audio, and no i didnt run them off an amp.

without building a box yourself, they are good for getting a box for your 6.5's, their original speakers do suck tho, no argument there
