if it's going out, the car will misfire and and stumble, especially at low rpms.

What kind of intake manifold do you have my buddy had one just changes yesterday. It was studding and jerking so he did everying even put another motor in his car but use the same intake manifold and it still had the same promblem so he change intake manifold and it runs perfect now.

the stock intake manifold.

i checked my coil. they haynes manual said it should have 0.3-0.5 ohms of resistance between the two terminals... mine has 0.9 could this be it? my engine runs perfectly fine other than the stuttering on take off..

yeah, bubles in the coolent causes suttering, The bubles get wraped around the sensors. I had the same problem as you, and bleeding the Coolent system correctly fixed it.

you sure it's .3? i thought it was 350-550 ohms, helms manual says to replace the distributor if it's not inbetween those. mine was 373 and there was no continuity so i have a bad wire somewhere...sucks not driving the crx.

edit:fixed my resistance number.

you said you had 373 ohms and then you said you had NO continuity? HUH?

yes the manual says 0.3-0.5 ohms between the two terminals. mine is 0.9 but drives great except for the stuttering at take off.

even if the haynes manual says .3 to .5 .9 is still out of that range, is it supposed to be out of the range? what does the manual say if it's out of range?

Form all my past honda experiences, stuttering has been due to ingition related problems. Usually bad wires, plugs or coil.

Just because youve changed something... dont rule it out... ,Ive seen it lots where the new parts installed are bad.

Usually ingition problems happen at lower rpm's... and after the rmp's are raised... it is not as notceable.

you said sensors. IACV is a valve, not a sensor..it has no wires going to it.

yes but basically what i need to know now is can a coil cause stuttering at low rpms? ive always though that they either work or they dont..

btw, the haynes manual says if its not 0.3-0.5 then to replace the coil...but before i go and waste $50 on a new one, i want to kinda make sure that the coil can cause my problems..
