Default lil help here...

I just finished moving the battery to the hatch area of my si, but now she won't start. I checked all the wiring and everything seemed to be getting power and everything was connected. I thought it might be the battery so I tried a jump-start, but that didn't work either. Whenever I turn the key all the power comes on, but the engine won't crank at all. Any thoughts?

I used a standard ground wire from AutoZone and mounted to the back of the hatch where there's a pre-existing ground. I'm assuming the ground's fine since all the power comes on. As for the starter wire, I've checked those and they all seem to be connected fine. I used a testing light, and it showed power to the starter. Thanks for the suggestions... anyone else.

What i would try and do is attach the ground wire to the bolt where your spare goes on. It is the brst ground area in a CRX i have found. Scratch the surface of the bolt and washers before tightning. What gu of wire did you run for your + wire?

GOOD LUCK

Thanks, but the set-up I have requires the box to be mounted to the spare tire mount (most stable seating I could find in the hatch). As for the + wire I used some 4-gauge Monster Cable.

Cable too thick maybe??? I'm just shooting in the dark though
Check the lil spade connector on the starter. It might need a lil tightening
When you turn the key, what do you get???
A little click then all lights go off in the dash???

It's cool, thanks anywayz. With my luck the starter prolly just died... at the same exact f*cking time that I decide to move the battery.

Check all of your fuses. Maybe you might have blown one
when relocating the battery.

do you still have the old battery cable connected to the fuse box?? this is kind of messy but if you just tape the old terminal and use that as the connecter for the fuse box and starter..

its pretty simple. have a long wire for the ground to get to the engine tranny then have another ground by your battery. thats why your car wont start. take a look at another car of like yours and look at the wire for the ground. There you see a ground connected to the body then the same ground wire running to the tranny. So this will make your car start.

Mine is grounded to my passenger side rear strut, works fine. Sounds like what was said before, either the starter is not connected, all the power wires that go to the under hood fuse box are not connected, you blew a fuse or the starter just quit. Check your in car fuses as well.
