Problem with front corner bulbs?????
Just last week one of my bulbs (194/168) up front went out. Then just 2 days ago the other one went out as well. I went and replaced them, but now they are not working. Neither side comes on. I have checked the fuses, but I didn't see any that needed to be replaced. Has anyone else had this problem? Could there be something wrong with my wiring.
I had the "going out" problem with one of my corner bulbs about two months ago. Is yours the larger bulb, because that is what mine was. Mine may have had to do with my corners were leaking water I think. What I did so that they would work properly was to make sure the bulb I had worked first, by plugging it in the other side, and then I pryed the prongs at the bottom of the bulb housing out a little more, so that they would put more pressure on the bottom of the bulb when I put it in, and then I also took a rough surface (sanding stick/block) and removed any grime from the bottom of the light housing (connectors) and on the bottom of the light bulb itself, if the metal doesn't look extremely clear of grime.
I hope that solves your problems and it is not something with your wiring, because that would be a pain in the *** to fix.
Good Luck,
Jon

I checked all of my connectors, but nothing was wrong there. Could there be a fuse that I am missing? I swear I have checked every fuse under the dash. Could my wiring be fried?
have u noticed how dirty the connectors get under there? i would get a circut tester from radio shack that cost like 10 bucks so u can test if ur getting current...if ur not that mean maybe fuse or broken wire some where.....if ur getting current then either get new bulbs or clean the plugs. hth

Those little wedge bulbs tend to fit loosely in those harnesses sometimes. What you can do is press the contacts inside the harness together a bit, and also pull out on the little wires at the base of the bulb, so that it will press on the contact better. But a continuity tester would also be useful so you can check the bulb itself. I've seen bulbs that look fine (filament intact) but still would not conduct electricity, thus rendering it useless.

I think I will get a curcuit tester to check the wires going to the bulb. Oh and I know what you talking about the bulb not seating all the way in the plug, but I have aleady checked that. Just have to see what happens when I test the wires.
