Has anyone ever done this?
I plan on retapping the hole that was formerly used by my lower power steering bracket on the the block and placing my knock sensor there. It is a 94 GSR block by the way. I was just curious if anyone on here has tried this and how were the results. This will make it much more convenient to remove the knock sensor as opposed to the original spot underneath the intake manifold. Thoughts and comments...?
Haven't done that. I have seen the knock sensor welded to the top alt bracket before.
Personally, I would leave it in the stock location. I understand it can be a pain to try to replace it with that GSR manifold, but you shouldn't have to replace it hardly ever, if at all.
