Nice job once again Edik. Sorry for the newbie question, but what's the deal with the inspections? Is it like autox where someone protests you, or is it mandatory that the top finishing cars go through this type of inspection?

The Organization just wants to know that you are top 3 in the championship legally.
They did the same thing to H1 here in socal Last year.
I have only seen 1 protest 2 years ago in SCCA and it was in ITB. Lots of yelling.

I actually like the fact that the top three are torn down (even with the fact that I helped tear down Steve Ellsworth head). Then all of those boneheads who claims that Edik, Steve, or anyone else is cheating can eat some crow. Now we know everyone (at least the top three) are playing by the rules. Kudos to NASA for letting us all know for sure.
