ok, so just recently if im going in 3rd gear or 4th, and am at about 2500-4000 rpm, and i let off the gas, il lugs a little bit.. instead of the usual disengagement, which will be , just a single lug, which is normal when the engine is slowing.. well now it goes " lug lug lug lug" when it slows.. and it kinda jerks quite a few times before starting to slow.. and im not sure what the problem could be.. unbalanced crank somehow?? it just recently started, the clutch has about 8k miles on it, the tranny was rebuilt about 15k miles ago, and the motor has about 35k on it.. any ideas anyone? TIA..
I have noticed this a couple times, I was thinking it had something to do with the throttle cable. I hope its not something internal.
bump, I would like to know also.

Is your idle a bit rougher? Mileage gone down a bit? Less power?
You may have skipped a tooth w/ your timing belt. Is it throwing a code?</TD></TR></TABLE>
This makes me nervous, since it does idle a bit rougher and is making a metallic noise.
I'm gonna have to pull the valve cover and check it out. Except my car is not throwing any codes.

thats what i had thought, maybe i had skipped a tooth.. well lugs are like when you let off the gas, and you feel the engine start to slow the car, you get that slight jump forward, before it starts to slow.. thats what i call a lug... it does that several times in a row, not just the usual once, when you let off..
check the idle air control valve operation. that is usually the issue with hondas when they jerk off throttle.

sort of, it just feels like when you let off the gas in a manual car, but it happens a few extra times...lol
