I got a omni front camber kit and i was just wondering if there is a correct way it should be set, or if you just go by how low your car is and and how far you feel the ball joints should be moved outward and make sure they're even on both sides

i know that i need an aligment, i was just wondering if there was a right way to set it up, as in when i get an alignment does the camber need to be adjusted at the same time or anything to be right.
Front camber, caster and toe and rear camber and toe are usually adjusted by the technician who is doing the alignment. Make sure he knows about your new parts. You can eyeball the alignment when you install the parts and then drive directly to the alignment shop.
Good Luck

Tools:
1st and formost: flat level serface
2. square
3. peice of metal to push the square away from the fender.
process:
1. pull car onto flat serface
2. place metal peice on rim (not tire, RIM)
3. take the sqaure and put the smaller end on the floor and with the long end slide it twords the metal on the rim untill it touches the metal at one point.
4. look how far off the top of the metal is from the square (in my case I had about 1/4" off, thus negative camber)
5. (now the hard part) trial and error, jack the car up and however you adjust the camber, pull it twords you to adjust for negative camber, again in my case, it was about 1/4" twords me.
6. once adjustment is done tighten the adjustment screws, and lower the car back down.
7. Very inportant! Roll the car back and forth to settle the suspension
8. check and repeat if nessesary
