The two items mentioned are completely different.

The AFC changes the amount of fuel being delivered. The wideband only monitors the amount of fuel being delivered. If you want to tune your AFRs at all, you'll need a wideband.

If you're wondering what it more important, it's definitely the wideband.

you'll need them both cause you wouldn't be able to change your afr with just the wbo2.

Yeah you really need a wideband if you wanna dial in the AFC. You can play with the AFC all day, but how do you really know if your settings are good if you dont have a wideband and a logger.

you dont need any msd stuff for 10 psi stock igniton will be fine. if it is a honda i would stay away from afc. just get uberdata and have someone that know what there doin tune it

Lol, here it comes.

...keep the stock ignition... don't use an FMU... don't use a hack... get chrome or uberdata and get tuned asap... don't buy an SSAutochrome or OBX product... stock sleeves will hold just fine...

What other generic noob advice can we add?

I dont see what's wrong with what he posted

The MSD BTM lets him retard timing which the WBO2 and AFC cant do

The AFC lets him adjust fuel which the WBO2 and MSD BTM cant do

The WBO2 lets him monitor air/fuel ratios which the MSD BTM and AFC cant do

Although for the price of all that I could have gone with a better solution that still includes a WBO2.

i owuld suggest only buying the wb02. The AFC should be used for nothing more important than a paper weight.
