Default Wiring question... of sorts..

Well, I jumped ont he bandwagon and got a cheap ebay knockoff Bride steering wheel and mated it to a NRG QR.

My and my friend at the time were installing the hub and the steering wheel when he told me to go et some food... when i came back i found that he had cut my clock spring cable to get the steering wheel off.... (pretty sure he didnt need to do that now)

Either way my horn wont work and the SRS light stays on. My safety inspection expired in Aug. and every time i get in my freaking hooptie mobile I run the risk of getting pulled over for an expired safety sticker (my car is safe... aside from the horn and the airbag)

Anyways i've found myself with 2 options, find a new clock spring and install it to pass inspection.. or somehow wire up the horn. A few questions arise from this.

My car is a 1992 LX sedan (came with a driver side only airbag and Cruise control)

would...

that clock spring work with my oem steering wheel? If not then which clock spring should i be looking for.

Secondly if i wanted to keep that cheap *** steering wheel, how would i be able to go about wiring up the horn so that it works. Please let me know asap as i dont want to continue driving the car like this... it makes me uneasy.

Thanks!

Do this. Go to google and type this.

site:honda-tech.com aftermarket steering wheel horn

There are a few threads about this. And you could just unplug the light, thats what I did.

yea thats what im going to do about the srs light... i know that is easy... i just need to figure out how this horn get wired... then i gotta figure out how to get my steering wheel straight...

cause once again... the super stellar A++ mechanic that was working on my car didnt check to see if the wheels were straight when he installed the wheel so going straight means i gotta hold the wheel at like 2:00

Copy and paste what I wrote into google. Go through all the F/S threads and you will find out how to wire it up.

I found this thread...

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=273474

but its DAMN confusing....i think i'm just going to have to go with getting a new clock spring.

Any idea on if that Integra one will work on my civic?

Im pretty sure it will since its almost identical to the one off my OEM wheel... i just need a confirmation.
