Another Honda stolen
Hey guys what's up? Woke up this morning to get ready for work, take a look outside and what do i see? A nice empty spot in my driveway where my car USED To be.
Mother f*ckers stole my car right out of my driveway. I live on a main street, and these punks still jacked me? I got home last night about 9 pm, went to sleep at 11, and woke up at 6 am to find my car gone. Never thought it would happen to me. That's what they all say right? I had my integra for 3 years sitting in my driveway and no one ever tried taking it. I have my accord for 1 month, and it's gone? Damn thieves. I want to break every one of their stealing fingers.
These @ssholes don't even bother to think of what kind of trouble the owners will be in. What kind of financial problems they'll have. I'm not rich, I have no money saved up. I'm now out of a 2000 down payment, and am probably gonna still owe money on the car if i have to settle with the insurance. Sad when you work hard to have ONE nice thing, and someone feels they have the right to just walk up to your house and take it.
Anyways, i live in the inland empire (chino) in so cal. 909. It was a 97 4 door maroon LX. Had side skirts, 12 spoke rims, and the lip on the rear bumper was missing. The rear licencse plate had a SOCIAL DISTORTION plate holder. There was a chunk missing off the drivers side mirror, on the plastic. Damn thieves.
Anyone know how insurance companies handle these situations, when you still owe money on the car? I had it for only ONE Month. Made the first payment 2 weeks ago. I called this afternoon, and all they can tell me was that they will settle with me, for whatever a 97 accord goes for around my area. I'm sure i'll get no more than 4 grand for it.
And no I didn't have an alarm on it. I had just got done paying the rest of the down payment on the car, starting to save up for anti-theft but never got the chance.
I'll post pics of the rims later on tonite.

That sucks dude! I worry about that all the time. I don't get why you would steal an accord. There are alot better cars to steal! Did you call the cops?
Hondas are the number one stolen car in California, if not then in America.
I hope you already made a police report and gave the police a thourough description of the car and license plate numbers.
Wouldn't hurt to put of the plate number on here too. Lots of people on here that could live in your area.
The main reason they stole it is not cause it's a flashy car or anything, but because Stock Honda Parts Sell for Big Bucks. If you ever get your car back, chances are it's going to be stripped clean.
Anti-theft is a must with Honda's. Everyone I've known who didn't have an Alarm in their honda got jacked. Mostly sound systems, not to many people will steal the actual car, but they sure as hell won't mind taking the Stereo. My little sisters car was broken into tonight by 3 high school punks. It's a 89' Camry, and they broke into it just to take the deck....shitty part is they busted out her passenger side window. I helped her tape it up earlier. About a month ago someone even tried to steal my 85' toyota pick-up and it's a total piece of crap! Funny thing is I live in hella nice neighborhood, no where near anything ghetto...it's mostly old retired people and new young couples. I got lucky though, they couldn't drive stick, LOL, so they gave up and left my car down the street from me. Didn't even steal my Deck!
Anyway man, hang tough, **** will start to go your way soon enough, just look at this as being a messed up lesson to learn from.

yah first thing i did was file a police report. They got a complete description of the car.
It sad that you can't have anything nice anymore. I know for sure my rims are gone, and my side skirts. So even if i do get the car back in one piece, I still gotta get new rims, not necesssarily nice ones, just stock rims.
Talking bout your shitty pick up, a year ago, they stole an 84 toyota van u know like those scooby doo mystery machines. From my homies grandpa. They found it the next day in Palm Springs, which is like 60 miles from here. They just took it for a joy ride. Unfortunately, i KNOW that my case isn't a joy ride.
Even if they do recover the car, it's no longer my car. It's been violated. I dont know about you guys, but i'm real touchy when it comes to the cars i drive.
By the way, license plate number is 3TTV169
And yah, I know things will get better sooner or later. I just gotta keep reminding myself that. I love hondas, and now most likely I will stray from them.

i hear you man. listen to this i just bought my 94 Accord 1 week ago yesterday. i got it dirt cheap because it was broken into and the radio was stolen and center console was considerably damaged. The passenger window was broke in. The day i got it registered (Last tuesday) i took it to school (bridgewater State), and left my cell phone in the cupholder. when i came out of class, and walked up to the car and disarmed the alarm it beeped 6x (which means it had gone off). Some bastard reached in and stole my cell phone, but had still managed to set off the alarm even though the passenger window was gone.
I know not comparable to a stolen car, but it still gets the point across- i may be on the other side of the country but theiving rats are everywhere

******* theift, my boy also got his car stolen, he pulled in drive way and went in the room to go bathroom and when he came out, all he saw is the car down the block and keep going, 92 civic with ITR motor, big lost, insurence gave him 1500 dollars . we have to beware, make sure before you park you car or pull to ur house or driveway, look around make sure no one follows you . be extra carefull, hate to see the brothers get the cars taken when we have so much heart for it.

You're right. Thieving bastards are everywhere, no matter where you are. Ghetto, or Beverly Hills.
Whats the deal with ur center console being damaged? is that a common thing with stolen cars? I'm ignorant
Like i said I love hondas, they're great cars. I've been thinking bout a station wagon or something unappealing to a thieves eyes. Would Vigilantism work? is vigilantism a word? haha later

I'm not advocating thievery, but why did you leave your cell phone in a car with a busted window? THat's just an invitation for someone to come along and take it.
