Just curious what Phoenix yelow would look like with pearl in it. Does anyone have pics?

 

Kinda like the BMW yellow on the newer beamers. Has that look kinda like the white pearl only yellow.

 

go to a honda dealership and look at a new yellow S2000 its called Rio Yellow
looks just like Phoenix Yellow except it has a bunch of pearl in it

From the pics that I have seen it doesnt look like there is much pearl in the paint. Is that just the pics?

 

yeah you gotta see it in person to see the pearl, its not a crazy amount of pearl from the factory but if your painting your car you can always add more pearl into the mix

 

I've got a PY ITR and a RY S2k and they're completely different colours. The RY is much darker when they're side by side. It's the colour of yellow road signs. PY is relatively very pale. You don't see the pearl very much in RY, mostly in bright sunshine. PY is nice, but RY is absolutely brilliant. If it gets to the point where I have to fully repaint the ITR, it's going to be RY, original colour be damned.

 

There is a local PY, salvage title turbo'd, guy doesn't know much about R's, doesn't drive it a whole lot. Owns a bodyshop, he added pearl to it.
