Default New Low time for EM1 All Motor

I ran this in my full interior full tank of gas EM1 (the 99-00 Si for those that don't know) on the third run (i ran five times) i went to the scale house and weighed in at 2520 with me in it, I weigh about 170 lbs give or take.

I didn't know I was going to go to the race track until about thirty minutes after I filled the tank. I drove about 15 minutes and then got in the staging lanes.

The outside temperature was 34F and the relative humidity was 75%

My last two runs I was on fire, the shifts were perfect and the launch was beautiful

i shaved .3 off my previous all time low

here is what I makes me all happy inside

r/t .798
60 1.825
330 5.85
1/8 8.780
mph 75.00
1000 11.559
1/4 13.917
mph 94.98

i was stoked beyond belief, especially with a full interior, powersteering, full tank of gas and me in it

i had to back it up, my first to second had a little grind in it and i think that's what took off the lil extra hundredth

r/t .626
60 1.825
330 5.630
1/8 8.793
mph 76.97
1000 11.576
1/4 13.936
mph 96.69

I think it might have a 13.8 in it with some more good driving, if i did some weight reduction maybe a 13.6.

im ******* stoked!

Dave

A better setup list might help. Also what tires you were on, I don't think 1.82's were on street tires.

nice, its hard as hell to get that car out of the 14's on d motor i never did mine but i never had type r bottom end just type r on the top side. it seems like yours is alittle lighter than mine too. i think mine was around the heavy side of 2600 with my fat a$$ in it.

It's good. I went 13.97 @ 97mph in a DX Ek coupe with a USDM B18C5 I/H/E on drag radials. Full interior, no spare or jack with a 2.1 60'.

The car was pretty hefty 2670 with me in it. I could have gotten in the 12's with better slicks My best sixty foot ever on the 22x15 slicks was a 1.9. So if i could ever gotten in the low 1.8 or 1.7 12's all day.

nice

maybe I can make up the power from my head, since you have the compression, stroke and bore advantage

yeah u might be able to pull those hp #'s. Def should pull over 200. Its just so much harder with a 1.8 cuz those big bores just breathe like crazy.
