Stereo help, please!
My battery in my integra was recently disconnected and now it's asking for the code. I bought the car used and I do not have the code. How can I get this?
The dealership said I have to give them the serial number on the back of the stereo so they can look it up. There must be an easier way, any ideas?

Thats the only way to go about this, it shouldnt take you much effort to pull it out and look for the code

..... If your gonna bother ripping out the stock radio just to get the code, Why dont you just buy an aftermarket cd player?
Even w/ factory speakers, an aftermarket deck can make them sound ALOT better. Believe me I know. Its What I do for a living!

If he's too lazy to take out his stock radio, do you think he's going to go for an aftermarket one? Cmon now, you can't get any easier than removing the old one. It takes 5 minutes or less.
You can also check the glovebox area (under and around it) to see if there's a sticker there. Also check your user's manual, the owner/dealer might have put the sticker in there.

yea...but if hes gotta take it out any way... y put it back in?
Yea it takes 5 mins, but its still gonna sound like a stock deck. Y not just put a better one in and not worry about a code ever and have better sound?
Its even easier to put an aftermarket deck in than putting the stock one back in.

It is very easy to take out the stock deck but if you want to keep the stock deck do it save some money if you arnt worried about stereo crap. my code was written on top of the head unit. take the 5 min to pull it and then decide what to do
