Just installed a jrsh on my eg. and when i go into boost the radio power goes out and then comes on when not in boost. What the expletive did i do?
oh yea i just installed a jr btm
and afc and somewhere in there i moved the radio to the jdm lower console, though i didnt change any wiring.

 

Sounds like you have a horrible wiring issue somewhere.. good luck pinpointing it.

This has to be a wiring issue. there is no other way. it must be when your boost gauge starts reading boost that it happens. I would start by looking at the wiring for your boost gauge.

ok, i have a autometer boost gauge which uses a boost source from the engine and acc and ground for the light so i dont think it would be that. though it doesnt seem to be working right either I think its just a bad unit.
The only thing i can even remotely think it would be is the jr btm. maybe i wired it wrong, and when it sees boost it grounds something out it shouldnt. Ill have to check out the wiring tonight. Any other ideas?
