I have a B16B CTR swap in my eg hatch, im going to use omni power springs and Ti retainers. Which cams am I going to want to use to get a GOOD gain? I plan on shifting at 9K, does anyone know what the highest I could "safely" rev. this stock ctr bottom end upto? im assuming around 9K.

I'm unsure on piston/valve clearance. Thank you.

 

Jun III, or Rocket M22's will both work great for ya... I wouldn't rev that block more than 9k if you want it to last for a while...

 

thanks i appreciate the info, is there anything with more lift that i could safely use? is 12.5 or 12.7mm advisable?

More lift doesn't necessarely mean more power for ya, from the sound of it the motor is completely stock with some supporting mods. When your choosing cams you need to think about the whole motor as a packige and so with your compression those cams are about the max I would run on that setup.
