Haha, its actually a Honda dealer, the MSRP is 4,967 and their giving it to me for 2,000 they just want to get rid of it, I test drove it today, and it was fine, no problems.

A dealer wanting to "just" get rid of a car is not too convincing.

That's how I got my 90 LS. The dealer wanted to get rid of it because it was slightly modified.

Cragar rims
6 band EQ
Tinted windows
Pre-wired for an amp

They thought the HG was blown. Turned out to be a clogged radiator.

you bought the car thinking the head gasket was blown for 2grand? wow you got lucky....it would have sucked to pay 2grand for 90 DA with a blown headgasket

If everything checks out on the car, I'd say go for it! That's a steal!

I checked out the motor before I bought it. No smoke, no oil in the coolant or visa versa, and test drove it. When I got the radiator flushed out a half a pound of Bar's Leak came out and then it fell apart. The car is worth more in parts than as a whole car. My friend buys abandoned cars and strips them for parts to sell. He usually make 2 to 3 times as much back. I told him keep an eye out for a mid 80's corolla, 240sx or a supra for me.

He doesn't need to buy a new engine soon. If the maintence was kept up that thing will last atleast 200,000. My friend's DA has 230k and still running strong. All about maintence. Buy the Car!! thats a steal from a dealer, but you know how dealers are, they are scammers! so you never know what your gettin from them, if they just want to get rid of it.
