2000 Integra Corner Lamps..
Has anyone switched there corner lamp wires so that it lights up bright filament instead of the low filament when the parking lights are on? Reason asking is I want to know if it'll run too hot and melt the plastic? Any input woul be appreciated. If im not clear as to what I'm asking let me know. Thanks

You know I thought of doing this to when I first got my car. I think the bulb itself might blow out because they are not made to have the second filament on all the time.
I dont know for sure tho. The blinkers would be too bright anyways and they probably wont blink because you dont see the dimmer bumb turn on. You might blow a fuse as well. I personally dont think its worth trying. regular hyper white bulbs look pretty good anyways.

The turn signals in the daytime will be very dim, and you won't be able to see them flashing at night. They will also become hyper blinkers. I don't like any of those which is why I don't do it.
I also don't like white turn signals which is why I have amber bulbs.

i did this when i first got my car, i wanted the corners to be brighter at night...well, it made them brighter...lost my signal at night...and it made the hyper blinker...if you want those two side affects, go for it...just gotta switch two wires, takes like 5 minutes...
Thanks for your input people, tho I'm not worried about having a turn signal, I have that part fiqured out... Really wanted to know if the bulb would run to hot and melt the corner lamp housing?
Thanks
