Default Rear Brakes Upgrade !!!

Hi !
On my Civic EX 98 ...
I heard that CRX SI 91 rear brake system could be a bolt-on upgrade ...
Is it true ??

Assuming it's a coupe, you want 99-00 Si LCA's, rotors, master cylinder, proportioning valve etc. Dunno about 4 doors

i believe that they will because in scc they put the crx si rear brakes on their project eg hatch. gsr brakes fit on the 5th gen hatch and the 6th gen coupes. so i think that the crx ones would fit since they fit on the 5th gen hatch. catch what im tryin to say?

4 doors are easy, find a four door with ABS and swap. 4 door ex's with abs had four wheel disk.

I read that article too. From that theory, it should work.

and also people take 1gen integra brakes and put them on their crx's, so that should mean that they will fit on civics too.? you could probably pick up some of those for real cheap.

All 5th and 6th Gen Civics/Del Sol/Si/SiR and 3rd Gen Integra/Type R rear disc brakes will swap as a bolt on. You may need different parking brake cables but you do not need to swap the booster, master cylinder or proportioning valve to do this upgrade.

All Hondas have rear brakes, but not all have rear disc brakes (which is what I think you may have been trying to say).
