i feel like selling my car :(
anyone interested in 2001k black ITR, stock, with OEM body kit in boston.
I'm tired of paying high monthly payment, and other credit card bills carried over since college. i just wanna live debt free...
the car has 22k miles, serviced every 7.5k miles by dealer. never been raced.
have some dings due to been driven daily.

Posting an asking price might be a good start.. should also be in the classifieds, but I agree on the debt thing, that's why I'm going to be selling my integra.
I completely understand. Come June, mine will possibly be up for grabs.
Option 1
Build a 2000-2500 sq ft home, build a hybrid, start a family
Option 2
Stay in apartment, keep the R, keep trying to save for a new home.
No contest, option 1 wins by huge margin
Jason-
who wishes he wouldn't have wasted so much money on car mods on top of a car payment

Yep, save for mods and buy them when you have the money.

i dont know what to ask...21k, maybe? i gotta repair the dings first though.
i'll post it on classifieds if i'm 100 percent sure about it.
Renting an apt here is like 1600 a month for 2 BR... and for that amount of money, i'd rather pay a mortgage for a condo. and to get approved for a mortgage, you need low monthly bills etc...
credit card sucks!!

I feel for you.
Although I have never put myself into credit card debt. I spent almost 80% of my monthly saving on mods and I regret everytime when I think about it. If I invested those money, they would have doubled today. Even if I don't invest the money and put it into saving, I can start my own business by now or use the money for furniture for my new house that I just bought. I wish someone had taught me how to handle my money. I am glad I realized it earlier though, otherwise, I WILL HAVE TO sell my car to get married, buy the house, etc... Now, I am just saving my money for bigger deals and real estate, once I have a decent income through my real estate, I will look at my second car. I would like to buy and pay off the next car right away as it's not an investment in any sense, it's hobby that keeps draining money out of my pocket.

Pat, who is just shocked by the idea of a Garth Jr. running around

ps - I understand, too. Selling #9 would get me out of debt and allow for a house down-payment
I change my mind.... i took it out to dentwizard to get an estimate...
weather is nice out..and the cruising just couldnt be any better....screw it...i'm keeping the R.... so what i have a car loan for another 4 years, and credit card bills for another year (or two). I wouldn't have to think about all this if I had a raise this year.
buying a place can wait until later.
anthony fro duxbury...I'm sorry dude... you have to keep looking for an R..

You know what really gets me into debt on the credit cards?
No, it's not mods for my car, or even guitar gear (tempting).
It's food.
It seems like the dumbest thing, but man, it's so easy to do without thinking and damned if it doesn't add up fast.

That's what I do, it takes a while, but things don't keep adding up. I have a credit card, but I only charge what I can afford to pay back

starting a family?
I've thrown around the idea of selling my R too, but my payoff is too high and I'd be over my head about 2-3K
