Default Headlifting problems for D series> Fix now or can I wait 1-2 weeks?

Basically, car was dyno'ed last night and made GOOD numbers for a d16y. Did a few highway pulls and the car overheated and shut off. Looked in the engine bay and overflow resevoir was over filled and the tube connecting to the radiator blew off and show coolant all over the bay. I know I need ARP headstuds and a headgasket but my question is, could I wait and fix this in 1-2 weeks or do I have to do this right away? I don't want the walls rusting up or anything. Please advise....
