Default just some pics of my motor build...(56k death!) ~~~UPDATE~~~

~~~Updates on pg.2 & 3 ~~~~
here's some pics of my B18B motor i'm building over winter. specs are:
B18B
B16 PR3 pistons 1mm oversize
head milled 20thousands
crower 404 cams
ITR valve springs & retainers
when i'm done the compression should be around 11.5:1 and almost a 1.9ltr, onto the pics (sorry for the crappy quality)
valves, cleaned, machined and buffed:
the head, milled 20thousands, cleaned, no carbon at all etc.
inside:
the block, still needs to go out for a bore, hone and block guard
and finally just how it sits (not together)
i know it's not as hardcore as some other ppl's builds on here, but i'm a broke *** student and this is all i can afford, what do u guys think? or
haha, i guess mommy would be really pissed if the motor was in the garage. my parents are tripping cuz i have two steelies in the garage. so i moved it to the shack in the backyard. once they saw it, they again complained.
haha, made me laugh.
so are you doing the cleaning yourself, then sending it off for the machining? or what?
haha same here. I just don't have the motor yet, just two more paychecks, and my B20 will be on its way!!
That LS looks great!!! You gotta give it to the non-VTEC builders!! I'm staying non-VTEC also!!
wow, thanks everyone. i chose to go with the ITR duel valvesprings and retainers because they are a little bit cheaper than the crowers. i'm also going to be keeping my stock LS valves (shown above) with the crower 404's. hopefully i'll make some decent power with the cams and the raised compression.
i have a stupid question for you guys tho.....can i use cam gears from a vtec motor? i don't see how they would be any different than the LS, unless they are a different size or somthing. basacilly, can i use like, toda or buddy club cam gears ment for a vtec motor? TIA
