I'm going to ask for that weekend off, but I have a dilemma. Two new Civic Si coupes will be fielded at the 25 Hour.
Then there's Chad who's gonna try to Slagg away Andy's Hope in Arizona.
I want to photograph something that weekend!

We've all seen pics of the Si's. I say get action of Chad vs. Andy. I'm certainly more interested in that
Also, I'm assuming there'll be magazine coverage of the 25-hour somewhere, and the Si's will most likely be vehicles of interest for that.

Ayup.
That's just me though. No, actually, that's just what I want to see. I expect coverage of the sprint race to be next to nothing, while the 25-hour will have stories and pics maybe from R&T, C&D, GRM, etc. I'd like to have both, and figure the 25-hour is more likely to be covered by someone else.

Why freeze your *** off in NorCal when you can come hang out with us in sunny Phoenix?
On second thought, it might be pretty cold by then. Our highs have barely been hitting 80's lately. We could be down to mid to low 70's by the first week in Dec.

The 25 hour. Its a no-brainer. I've been the last three years in a row and next to the Laughlin/Ramada Express Rally, it is my favorite event in the western states.
The battle between Andy and Chad for a couple of sprints will be nothing compared to the battle between two factory Civics and two factory Miatas over 25 hours.

Yeah, well we all know what happened last year when everyone thought a Miata would win E2.

Jeff<---- who will be at Spring moutain on the 3rd, but hustling back to phoenix that night for beers with andy and chad, and then action on sunday
past two years of 25 hour have been epic...
I have yet to have a sprint race with the same feeling...
then again andy was involved in the two 25 hours... maybe it was him..

Mmmmm, little different this year... The Mazdaspeed guys are running cars from the new ProMiata class, or whatever its called. These are the new cars, not the horde of SMs we've seen in the past. Not sayin' that they'll kick everyone's *** out of the gate. But its a different deal from last year, for sure.
Either way, I'll try and make you famous. Again.

Well, lets see what pictures your going to get at each event.
Thunderhill:
Honda America's '06 Civic Si's taking over all win.
Spoon RL going at a steady pace, stopping for a detail job, and crossing the finish in a respectable position.
Team Orenge`
Some Miatas
Some nutty 911s
The Benny P. Show
Mike Q, Andrie, Lepper, A bunch of Locks, Then some lesser known drivers (like Randy Pobst who is like the generic version of Andy Hope.)
There will be some nice shots of mud.
Umm, I'm missing some people but they are probably glad.
Firebird:
Chad smashed into a cactus.
It's a tough call. But if you're not there who's going to get the cactus shot? Motegi Wheels will buy you dinner.

Well, those new Miata's will be in E1, not E2. The new Si's will be in E1 as well. My money is still on the Civic for the E1 win.
There will be plenty of SM's contesting E2. I am also not discounting the chances of the Benny-mobile & the Lock's Integra. Of course those of us running in the PDQ Motorsports Civic have plans for E2.
BTW, I would rather have fun than be famous. If both happens, icing on the cake!
