Default 99 coupe alarm/door lock issue need help asap

ok my freind has a 99 civic that already has power door loks.He is trying to install an alarm. He disconected the factory keyless entry/alarm so he can hook up the after market one. Now the door lock switch inside doesnt work and we can get the alarm to activate the door lock either.

i have no idea what goin on with this car. plus it only has one wire coming from the passenger side door under the dash.

LOL. you can't remove the "Keyless entry module" [the white unit in the drivers side kick panel] the connections from the alarm are made at the plug into the module, green/white is lock and green/orange is unlock, a low currant, [250mA] neg. (-) is all they need to trigger the door lock relays that are in the module. 94

If it was the white module in the drivers kick panel yea he is kind of screwed, he will have to reconnect it or install a pr. of SPDT relays on the door lock actuators wires like this http://www.the12volt.com/doorlocks/page3.asp#arp 94

PS, you will also have to connect the green/orange and green/white wires from the door switch to the relays so they work, [same place as the alarm wires]

That would be the easiest, leave as much wiring on the plug as you can, also if you do that it will be easy to do the drivers door unlock only, [priority door unlock] if the alarm he has has that option. 94
