97 honda civic 1.6 b16y7 non-vtec alternator removal........help

Default 97 honda civic 1.6 b16 non-vtec alternator removal........help

My vehicle was charging my car at 18v so now i am putting a new alternator on....i have all the bolts and connection loose but there is not enough clearance to remove the alternator from the bay.....does anyone have any tips.........

i usually remove the two nuts holding the master cylinder on and slide it out just enough to be able to get the alternator out.

nope, just don't pull it out all the way and be careful of the brake lines.
