Default Integra solo2 exhaust

I think im going to go with the comptech header (non race) and the world sport exhaust.
I have an integra gsr 01 that is racing in STS and also track days.

I have a few questions before I buy.

What if any difference is there between the world sport and the world sport 2

Will I need anything to adapt the 2.36 exhaust to teh stock cat (which I have to use)

will the world sport or world sport 2 for a 99 gsr fit on an 01?

Thanks
if you have any comments on my choices I havnt set anything in stone yet and would love some feedback.

WS supposedly is louder than the WS2, but hardly noticeable. Plus the redesign was supposed to up torque a bit midrange. I have the WS2 on now (N1 is in the shed) and I like it.

Shouldn't need anything to adapt the cat to the exhaust.

And nothing changed between those years on the Integra except the taillights and front bumper I believe. So it should bolt up.

midrange is a big plus for solo

but it hought the stock piping was 2.25 and the ws2 was 2.36 wouldnt that mean the ws2 wouldnt fit on the stock cat

Wrong.

The 2000-2001 GSR's have "LS/ITR length exhaust". 1995-1999 GSR exhausts will not fit on 2000-2001 models.

Also, the Integras were changed slightly aesthetically in 1998.

I ran the WS2 with the stock cat and a DC header on my 94 GSR and found it fit well and was fairly quiet. It gives a lower tone than the standard fart can rasp that many Hondas run. I did find that the rear muffler made the hitch I had a no-go so I had to leave my tire trailer home and go back to loading/unloading the car at each event. I run DSP and this year dropped the cat and went with a SMSP header and was able to simply cut off the front flange and add a pipe with the correct flared end to match up to the header. The sound level is still quiet enough to meet the fairly low Devins sound requirements. Without the cat it has much more of the raspy, buzzy tone now.

Stock GS-R piping is 2.0". Never done it before but I'm pretty sure it just bolts right up to the stock cat.

I've had the WS on my LS for 5 years and I love it. I've seen both the WS2 and the old RS (basically identical to the WS), and although they were on cars with different setups, from what I could tell they basically sounded the same when cruising. I believe the WS2 has stainless piping, and it does have a different, rolled tip whereas the WS (and RS) have a slant-cut tip.
