i was talking to my buddy about your problem. he said that it would be pretty tough to blow the relay but i don't really know how to get you a diagram to get to it. just double check that your fuse isn't blown..maybe try putting a new one in anyway. did you do any wiring to your car?

can water mess up the relay? the assembly was foggy. I also have an alarm installed. and...... OH yea, the lights work when i press my alarm to unlock and lock.

I'll have the wireing diagram up for you to look at by tommorow.

what was foggy? the relay should be somewhere behind the dash. when did you get your alarm put in? was it working after?

Yea, the lights were working when the alarm was instaled.

I also found out that my whole dashboard lights are out. The odometer, hazard, and ac controls are out. the only lights that work are, highbeam indicator, seatbelt, brake, etc. that lights up without you starting up the car.

I took a relay from another car and put it into mine, it doesnt help at all. i also plugged in my relay into my firend's car and it works.

any ideas?

I would also like to mention that when i press my alarm, my dashboard and signals blink. So that means it has power going into them. however, doesnt work when i turn on my headlights.

what does that mean?

make sure your hazard switch is working properly. if it isn't hooked up or not connected right or the connections are crappy your turn signals will not work outside or on your dash. you can test it in someone elses car if it is already connected good.

1) check fuses in your kick, then check under HOOD fuses in the main box, 2) if still not the fuses, pull or disconnect ur side markers from ur turn signal wiring and see if it works, if it does then there could either be a blown bulb or a stripped wire some where on ur wiring to ur side markers. 3) if its not that and ur signals still do not work, check the actual switch itself, within the steering column, coudl have possibly gone out when a short occured, if anythign else let me know. pz

sounds to me like you got a short somewhere... possibly a result of you wiring those sidemarkers to the turn signal lamps.

Can it still be a short even tho it still has power going to it? when i press my alarm, all the blinkers, dash, and my rear turn signal works.

if the wires shorted, there wouldnt be power going to them right?

i am not sure, please correct me.

I'm having the exact problem almost, except my hazards work, but signals don't, one of my corners work, other one don't. I am going to try to replace it with another hazards button to see if that helps.
